Apdrops DX Eye Drops 3ml is a combination medication used to treat bacterial eye infections such as conjunctivitis (pink eye). It contains Moxifloxacin 0.5% w/v (an antibiotic) and Dexamethasone 0.1% w/v (a corticosteroid). Moxifloxacin works by stopping bacterial growth, while Dexamethasone reduces inflammation, redness, and swelling.
Dosage/Directions
Instill one drop into the affected eye(s) 4 times daily or as directed by your doctor.
Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it.
Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid.
Wipe off extra liquid.
Avoid wearing contact lenses while using the drops.
Complete the full course of treatment even if symptoms improve.
Side Effects
Common side effects may include eye discomfort, dryness, burning sensation, and temporary blurring of vision. Serious side effects are rare but can include severe allergic reactions. If you experience any severe side effects, seek medical attention immediately.
