Dalacin C Capsules contain clindamycin, a lincosamide antibiotic used to treat serious bacterial infections. It is effective against infections of the lungs, skin, bones, joints, stomach, and intestines. Clindamycin works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby stopping the growth of bacteria.

Dosage/Directions

Take one Dalacin C capsule (150-300mg) orally every 6 hours, with a full glass of water. You can take it with or without food. Ensure to complete the full course of treatment as prescribed, even if symptoms improve. Do not lie down for at least 10 minutes after taking this medication.

Side Effects

Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. Serious side effects may include severe allergic reactions, liver problems, and Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience symptoms such as severe abdominal pain, persistent diarrhea, or yellowing of the skin or eyes.
