Duromine 30mg Capsules contain Phentermine, a sympathomimetic amine used as an appetite suppressant. It is prescribed for the short-term management of obesity, alongside exercise, behavioral modifications, and caloric restriction. Phentermine works by affecting the central nervous system to reduce appetite.

Dosage/Direction

• Adults: One capsule (30 mg) once daily, preferably in the morning.
• Children under 12 years: Not recommended.
• Administration: Swallow the capsule whole with plenty of water. Do not chew or open the capsules.

Side Effects

Common side effects include increased heart rate, high blood pressure, restlessness, insomnia, nervousness, headache, dizziness, dry mouth, and gastrointestinal disturbances. Serious side effects may include chest pain, difficulty breathing, and severe allergic reactions. It is contraindicated in patients with cardiovascular disease, hyperthyroidism, glaucoma, and those with a history of drug abuse.
