ECEE 2 Tablets are an emergency contraceptive containing Levonorgestrel 0.75mg. This medication is used to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sexual intercourse or contraceptive failure. Levonorgestrel works by inhibiting ovulation, fertilization, and implantation, thereby reducing the chance of pregnancy. It is most effective when taken as soon as possible after unprotected intercourse.

Dosage/Directions

Take one ECEE 2 Tablet as soon as possible, preferably within 12 hours, but no later than 72 hours after unprotected intercourse. The second tablet should be taken 12 hours after the first dose. Alternatively, both tablets can be taken at once, but this may slightly reduce effectiveness. Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions for best results.

Side Effects

Common side effects include nausea, fatigue, headache, dizziness, and breast tenderness. Some individuals may experience changes in their menstrual cycle, such as spotting or delayed periods. Rare but serious side effects include severe allergic reactions and abdominal pain. If you experience any severe or persistent side effects, seek medical attention immediately.
