Etoflam 90mg Tablets contain etoricoxib, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that selectively inhibits cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2). This medication is used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and acute gout. By blocking COX-2, Etoflam reduces the production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals in the body that cause pain, inflammation, and fever. Dosage/Directions: The typical dosage for adults is one 90mg tablet taken once daily. For acute gout, the recommended dose is 120mg once daily, limited to a maximum of 8 days. Always follow your healthcare provider’s instructions regarding dosage and duration of treatment. Side Effects: Common side effects include stomach pain, bloating, constipation, mouth ulcers, headache, and dizziness.
