Provask 10mg Tablets contain Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and prevent chest pain (angina). Amlodipine works by relaxing blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily, which helps lower blood pressure and reduce the heart’s workload.

Dosage/Directions

• Adults: The usual starting dose is 5mg once daily. Depending on the patient’s response, the dose may be increased to a maximum of 10mg once daily.
• Elderly or patients with liver problems: The starting dose may be lower, typically 2.5mg once daily.
• Take the tablet at the same time each day, with or without food.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water.

Side Effects

Common side effects include headache, dizziness, fatigue, nausea, and swelling of the ankles or feet. Rare side effects may include severe allergic reactions, chest pain, and liver problems. Consult your doctor if side effects persist or worsen.
