REMUS 0.1% 10g Ointment (Tacrolimus) is a topical medication used to treat moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (eczema) and vitiligo. Tacrolimus is an immunosuppressant that works by decreasing the activity of the immune system to reduce inflammation and other symptoms associated with these skin conditions
Dosage/Directions
Dosage: Apply a thin layer of ointment to the affected area twice daily
Directions: Use only on the affected skin, and avoid covering the treated area with a bandage or dressing unless directed by your healthcare provider. Do not use more often or for longer than prescribed
Side Effects
Common side effects may include burning, itching, or irritation at the application site. Severe side effects, though rare, can include increased risk of infections, lymphoma, skin cancer, and other types of cancer. Consult your healthcare provider if you experience any severe symptoms or signs of infection
