About this product

TOFEN Eye Drops contain Ketotifen, an antihistamine used to relieve itching and discomfort caused by allergic conjunctivitis. Ketotifen works by blocking histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms, and stabilizing mast cells to prevent allergic reactions. Dosage/Directions: Use TOFEN Eye Drops as directed by your doctor, typically one drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily, every 8 to 12 hours. Wash your hands before applying the drops. Tilt your head back, pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket, and squeeze a drop into this pocket. Close your eyes for 1 to 2 minutes. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface, including your eye, to prevent contamination. Side Effects: Common side effects include mild burning or stinging, dry eyes, and headache. Serious side effects may include eye pain, vision changes, or severe eye irritation. Contact your doctor if you experience any severe or persistent side effects.
