Uniactin SP 2mg/100ml Syrup

Uniactin SP 2mg/100ml Syrup contains Cyproheptadine Hydrochloride, an antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, itching, and sneezing. It is also used as an appetite stimulant in certain conditions. Cyproheptadine works by blocking histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms.

Dosage/Direction

For adults and children over 12 years, take 5ml (1 teaspoon) two to three times daily. For children aged 7-12 years, take 2.5ml (half a teaspoon) two to three times daily. Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions carefully. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

Side Effects

Common side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, and blurred vision. If you experience severe side effects such as difficulty breathing or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, seek medical attention immediately.
