Xolamol Eye Drop 5 ml is a combination ophthalmic solution containing Dorzolamide (2%) and Timolol (0.5%), used to lower intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Dorzolamide, a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor, reduces fluid production in the eye, while Timolol, a beta-blocker, decreases aqueous humor formation. Together, they provide a dual-action approach to prevent optic nerve damage and preserve vision. Recommended for twice-daily use, Xolamol is suitable for adults and elderly patients. Contact lens wearers should remove lenses before application and wait at least 15 minutes before reinsertion.
