Xyzal Syrup 75ml contains Levocetirizine, a second-generation antihistamine. It is used to relieve allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes/nose, and sneezing. It is also effective in treating chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives) and allergic conjunctivitis.
Dosage/Direction
- Adults and children over 12 years: 5 ml once daily in the evening.
- Children (6-12 years): 2.5 ml once daily in the evening.
- Children under 6 years: As prescribed by a doctor.
- Administration: Take with or without food.
Side Effects
Common side effects include drowsiness, fatigue, dry mouth, and pharyngitis. Serious side effects are rare but may include severe allergic reactions, difficulty urinating, and severe dizziness.
