Zentel suspension 20ml

Zentel Suspension contains Albendazole, an antiparasitic medication used to treat various parasitic infections such as tapeworm infections, neurocysticercosis, and hydatid disease. It works by inhibiting the energy production of parasites, leading to their eventual death.

Dosage/Direction

• Adults and children over 2 years: 400 mg (20 ml) once daily for 3 days.
• Children under 2 years: Not recommended.
• Administration: Take with food to enhance absorption.

Side Effects

Common side effects include headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. Serious side effects may include liver problems, severe allergic reactions, and bone marrow suppression. It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Albendazole and those with severe liver disease.
