Zyrtec 10mg Tablets contain Cetirizine, an antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes/nose, sneezing, and hives. It works by blocking the effects of histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms.

Dosage/Directions

Adults and children 6 years and over should take one 10mg tablet once daily. Do not take more than one 10mg tablet in 24 hours. For children under 6 years and adults over 65, consult a healthcare provider.

Side Effects

Common side effects may include drowsiness, tiredness, dry mouth, and stomach pain (especially in children). Rare side effects include difficulty urinating, severe dizziness, and allergic reactions.
